1.
the lightning of the sky reveals the question in taking this surprise begins adventure a circumstance to realise words are crystal the fragments hang beyond the sky in starlit motion the hanging of the truth so bright beyond the notion the moments we must realise are captive questions here we stand here we stand caught up in lights on broken land pulling fast in something real and stepping from what used to be the ending of the open sky a world we knew the gift so bright erase the day the passing lights and seek the night and fading signs and seek the night and fading signs erase the day the passing lights a world we knew the gift so bright the ending of the open sky
2.
in one moment fading fast choice-less wonders are safe at last to take the words all as show lose the meaning let it go hear the soul that wants to cry in time we walk a long goodbye lift the memory step beyond the passing time has all but gone
3.
here in the memories in pictures you've seen lie the faces from the dream set in the distance the future surreal is telling stories in between try to remember when we never could pretend one to remember one to believe in all that's gone all you've seen the stillness of time takes us far from here circles in the sky make us disappear the years falling faster like something we've seen are just illusions beyond the dream try to remember when we never could pretend the stillness of time takes us far from here circles in the sky make us disappear

Reptilian 09:10
when it's over who will greet us if the morning fails to wake us here forever in the night air standing firmly wrapped in despair i can hear the words you whisper calling for the one you most fear you wonder why you came here what's there to see? everything you knew from before the lights, the colours, the shapes they're all gone we're all gone you wonder why you came here what's there to see? he will come alive to greet us when the morning fails to wake us coming faster now in silence lights we'll never see behind us the reptilian we now know takes what he can find in shadow burn the souls at once to be sure everything is safe as before
6.
The Witness 04:18
maybe in time the witness provides the answers hold on to find how this all unfolds hereafter once in a while we see that the skies give meaning they witness the life the souls that we find are leaving

about

“Dark nordic progressive rock, with excursions into kraut & art rock”

Kaukasus can be viewed as a musical tripod — its weight firmly in the middle, where the three points meet. The three points being Ketil Vestrum Einarsen (Jaga Jazzist, Motorpsycho), Rhys Marsh (The Autumn Ghost, Opium Cartel) & Mattias Olsson (Änglagård, White Willow).

Their debut album, ‘I’, will be released on the 5th of May, on Autumnsongs Records, via Burning Shed.

Although based in different parts of Scandinavia, the trio still managed to record an incredibly cohesive-sounding album, trusting each other’s instincts without question. In fact, as the album was written & recorded in a such a short amount of time — only two weeks — it sounds like they were not only in the same room, but in exactly the same places in their minds & in their lives — the intensity & chemistry jumping from the speakers as the album begins.
